3/30/2024 0 Comments Rigs of rods car mods wixLast few year's I've been well under 10k a year on my Dodge. What does PBB say? Does this truck have a decent amount of life left in it? I have a daily driver, so it will only be used when I need a truck. He showed me his Manheim account from when he bought it, and that's what he's into it for, so I don't think he's trying to take me for a ride. I actually won the ebay auction for this truck at $16,000 and he agreed to that price. Trans fluid appeared OK and it shifted really good while driving it.ĭealer has it on the lot for $19,995. How are these trucks holding up long term? I read on Duramax sites about the P0087 low fuel pressure code, and it has the factory braided hoses which are kinked in a couple spots, so I would replace those with the Parker hose per the TSB right away. I found a few threads on here from back when the LMM first came out, but nothing recent. The truck is completely stock, no exhaust or tuners, no gooseneck hitch either. Interior looked OK, everything worked and A/C was cold. ![]() The rear bumper and left rear quarter have some slight damage that makes the tailgate hard to open and close, but was fine other than the expected dings and scratches. It drove nice, as nice or better than my Dodge with 50k less miles, Duramax pulled hard when I loaded it up on hills as best as I could empty, and the tow/haul feature was nice coming back down. It was at a small used truck lot, the owner threw me the keys and said, take it for a spin. ![]() It's an LTZ with the LMM Duramax/Allison 6 speed, and has 180k miles on it. I came across an '08 Chevy 3500 ex-cab (not quad cab) dually, and went to test drive it on my lunch break today. They are usually priced sky high as well. A lot of the Dodges I've found are either automatics (don't want another Dodge auto), or beat up work trucks. Recently I've been looking into upgrading my 2nd Gen Dodge 2500 for a newer 3500 now that I'm towing a bigger trailer.
